Emergency Veterinary Care in Spring, TX
Reliable, Compassionate Care when Your Pet Needs It Most
Even healthy pets can have accidents. If your pet is experiencing a sudden or urgent health issue, the team at Veterinary Medical Center of Spring is here for them. As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary clinic, we can accommodate walk-ins during our normal business hours, six days a week. We will do our best to help your pet when they need it most! If your pet is experiencing an emergency outside of our normal business hours, we will refer you to a trusted local emergency vet.
For your pet’s urgent health issues, we typically ask that you give us a call before you come in. While we do our best to accommodate walk-ins, it can be helpful for us to have notice so we can be prepared. We’ll do our best to accommodate you and your pet between our regularly scheduled appointments.
Your pet may need emergency medical care if they exhibit the following symptoms:
- Apparent paralysis
- Dramatic change in body temperature
- Difficulty standing
- Excessive bleeding
- Loss of consciousness
- Pale gums
- Rapid breathing
- Weak or rapid pulse
We understand that seeing your pet suffer can be a stressful and scary situation which is why we are here for you and your pet during this stressful time. Your emergency veterinarian in Spring will treat both you and your pet with the utmost respect and compassion.
If you think your pet is experiencing an urgent health issue, don’t hesitate to give us a call at (281) 353-5700! We can help you decide if you need to bring your pet in to see us.
When you give us a call, we may be able to assist you in performing some basic first aid to stabilize your pet before you bring them in to see us. Our veterinary team will also give you tips on how to safely transport your pet. Most importantly, we’ll help you remain calm so your pet feels safe and doesn’t become aggressive.
For less urgent medical issues, we can help you book the next available appointment. This will help ensure your pet will be seen promptly by one of our Spring veterinarians without the uncertainty of waiting for a walk-in spot.
Ultimately, we are here for both you and your pet. We understand that your pet’s medical needs are important. We’ll do everything within our power to make sure your pet gets the medical attention they need as soon as possible.
