Emergency Care

We can accommodate emergency walk-ins during our normal business hours, five days a week.

If you pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us before coming in at (281) 353-5700.

For after-hours emergencies, we will refer you to a trusted local emergency vet.

Your pet may need emergency medical care if they exhibit the following symptoms:

  • Apparent paralysis

  • Difficulty standing

  • Loss of consciousness

  • Rapid breathing

  • Weak or rapid pulse

  • Dramatic change in body temperature

  • Excessive bleeding

  • Pale gums

  • Seizures

For your pet’s urgent health issues, we ask that you give us a call before you come in.

While we do our best to accommodate walk-ins, it can be helpful for us to have notice so we can be prepared. We’ll do our best to accommodate you and your pet between our regularly scheduled appointments.

What to Expect

1) When you give us a call, we may be able to assist you in performing some basic first aid to stabilize your pet before you bring them in to see us.

2) Our veterinary team will also give you tips on how to safely transport your pet.

3) Most importantly, we’ll help you remain calm so your pet feels safe and doesn’t become aggressive.
